Acoustic perforations and grooves are key when creating spaces that are top-tier both acoustically and aesthetically. The number and shape of the perforations depends on the demands of the target space. The noise dampening felt installed behind the panels finishes the perfect soundscape.

Acoustic perforations can be performed on veneered, HPL or painted cladding panels. This allows us to create better acoustics in a multitude of ways and in many different spaces. In addition to achieving the desired acoustic features, the shape and positioning of the perforations can also be used to create interesting visual effects

Acoustic perforations

We produce perforations based on our customers’ requests. Perforation models range from large visible perforations to indistinguishable nano perforations. In addition to the stock models, we can also produce individual perforations. Perforations can be produced for all Puucomp panels.

Nano Perforation - Invisible perforation with excellent acoustic features

Nano perforation offers a unique way to improve the acoustics of any space - even in the environments with the most demanding requirements.

The nano holes can be seen only when viewing the surface very closely. The diameter of the holes is usually 0,5 mm and the distance from the middle of the hole to another 2/1,75 mm.

Nano holes don't actually go through the panel like normal perforation holes - it pierces only the thin veneer or laminate. The core panel is being perforated separately with an efficient perforation pattern like Puucomp's perforation model R108.

The finish of the surface of nano perforation panels can be made with oil or lacquer. The mounting and installation options are the same as with all Puucomp panels. Because of the small size of the nano holes the maintenance needs to be done with care.

ArborLine Lath Elements

With ArborLine lath solutions, you can customise the soundscape of a space by placing laths or lath elements on either the ceilings or walls. With different widths, shades and lengths of laths, you can also create spectacular effects. ArborLine lath elements have a higher degree of finish than standard lath products, but this does not prevent individual realisations.

Create large wall surfaces or highlighting details. ArborLine products are particularly suitable for public areas where excellent acoustics and a high fire rating are required. Up to Class A acoustic performance can be acquired with laths. This makes the products ideal for e.g. concert halls.

ArborLine products are quick and easy to install. The elements have the added bonus of a neat acoustic backdrop for the interior. ArborLine Massive is also suitable for curved surfaces.
